Bilinguo Order Printer Invoice ("Bilinguo", "we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of merchants and their customers. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, processed, stored, and protected when merchants install or use the Bilinguo application through Shopify.
1. Information We Access
When a merchant installs Bilinguo, the application may access information from the merchant's Shopify store that is necessary to provide its invoicing and document generation features.
Depending on the features used and permissions granted, this may include:
- Store name and store information
- Merchant contact information
- Order information
- Order numbers and transaction details
- Product names, quantities, prices, discounts, and taxes
- Customer names
- Customer email addresses and telephone numbers where available
- Billing and shipping addresses
- Payment and fulfillment status
- Tax information
- Other information contained within an order that is required to generate invoices, receipts, packing slips, return documents, credit notes, or similar documents
Bilinguo only accesses information required to provide the functionality requested by the merchant.
2. How We Use Information
Information accessed through Shopify is used to:
- Generate Arabic and English invoices
- Generate receipts and Shopify POS documents
- Generate packing slips
- Generate return forms and credit notes
- Generate PDF documents
- Display merchant, customer, product, order, payment, tax, and shipping information on documents
- Customize invoice and document templates
- Provide, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the application
- Provide technical and customer support
- Maintain the security and reliability of the application
Customer information accessed through Shopify is not used by Bilinguo for independent marketing purposes.
3. Processing of Customer Data
Bilinguo primarily processes customer information on behalf of Shopify merchants.
Merchants remain responsible for determining how they collect and use their customers' personal information and for complying with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
Bilinguo processes customer information only as necessary to provide the services requested by the merchant and in accordance with applicable Shopify requirements.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell customer or merchant personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers that are necessary to operate Bilinguo, such as hosting, database, infrastructure, security, monitoring, email, or document generation providers.
Where such service providers process personal information on our behalf, they are permitted to process the information only as necessary to provide their services to Bilinguo.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid request from a competent authority.
5. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Access to personal information is limited to systems and personnel that require access for legitimate operational purposes.

7. App Uninstallation and Data Deletion
When a merchant uninstalls Bilinguo, access to the merchant's Shopify store through the application is revoked.
Personal information previously obtained through Shopify will be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, or regulatory retention requirements.
Bilinguo also processes applicable data deletion requests received through Shopify in accordance with Shopify's requirements.
8. Customer Privacy Requests
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights regarding their personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other information regarding the processing of their personal data.
Because Bilinguo generally processes customer information on behalf of Shopify merchants, customers should normally direct privacy requests to the merchant from whom they made their purchase.
Where applicable, Bilinguo will assist merchants with legitimate privacy requests relating to information processed through the application.
9. International Data Processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the country in which the merchant or customer is located.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.
10. Cookies and Technical Information
Bilinguo may process limited technical information necessary for security, authentication, application functionality, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
Where cookies or similar technologies are used, they will be used in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
11. Third Party Services
Bilinguo operates as an application integrated with Shopify.
The use of Shopify and information processed directly by Shopify are governed by Shopify's own agreements, terms, and privacy practices.
Bilinguo may also rely on third party infrastructure and technology providers to operate the application.
12. Children's Privacy
Bilinguo is intended for use by businesses and Shopify merchants and is not designed for direct use by children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the Bilinguo application.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to Bilinguo, our data processing practices, legal requirements, or Shopify requirements.
